EatingAI

Your AI nutrition coach, not another calorie spreadsheet. You say what you ate, Avo logs the macros and scores the meal in seconds, and the app turns that into streaks, XP, and habits worth keeping. The product is voice-first and playful. Our job was a website that says so in three lines.

Why this one is different

Not a food tracker. A mirror.

Calorie-counting apps were built for numbers. But food is emotion, habit, and identity, and that is the angle EatingAI owns. The pitch on the page is blunt: "calorie counting is dead." The app doesn't just log what you ate, it reflects how you eat back at you.

The mechanic that makes it work is voice. You describe a meal the way you'd tell a friend, "chicken burger with fries and Coke," and Avo, the AI coach, logs it instantly. No typing, no barcode scanning, no spreadsheets. The friction that kills most nutrition tracking after two weeks simply isn't there.

4.9 out of 5 from 1,200+ smart eaters, on iOS and Android. For a category this crowded, those numbers are earned.

The brief

A visual website for a voice-first product

The core interaction of EatingAI is audio. The web is not. That tension shaped every decision we made: lead with the voice hook, then prove there is real substance behind the personality.

There is a lot to show, so we sequenced it instead of stacking it:

  • Talk to Avo: describe a meal out loud and it's logged in seconds
  • Instant macros and a meal score: calories, protein, carbs, fats, plus a personalized tip
  • Gamified habits: XP, daily streaks, gems, and tasks that make healthy eating stick
  • EatingAI for Teams: the same coach, rolled out across a group

Lead with voice, the clearest hook. Reveal the rest one screen at a time. Keep the App Store and Google Play buttons in view the whole way down.

What we built

Talk. Log. Done. Three steps.

The "How It Works" story is told as three beats and nothing more: Talk to Avo, Avo Reacts, You Upgrade. Say what you ate, get instant feedback and a meal score, then earn XP and streaks that nudge you toward better choices. One idea per card, each backed by a screen that proves it exists.

The hero demonstrates voice logging in a single glance, a meal logged at 445 kCal, macros ticking up, habit tasks waiting below. No "watch a demo" modal required. If you read three lines, you already understand the product.

Social proof sits where doubt surfaces, beside the download buttons: a real 4.9 rating, a real review count, no inflated testimonials.

Half of the design work was deciding what to leave off the page. Voice logging sells itself the moment someone tries it. The website just had to get them to that moment, with Avo doing the talking.
